Arunachala Pancharatna Varttikam

Sri Arunachala Pancharatnam (Five Gems on Arunachala), the poem, composed and written by Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi, both in Sanskrit and Tamil, is being recited daily in Bhagavan's Shrine every morning and evening. Sri K. Lakshmana Sarma wrote a commentary on these five verses entitled "Laghu Vritti" meaning a short commentary. Bhagavan altered the title as "Varttikam" in view of the lucid and vivid explanation.

It is with great pleasure this varttikam is now published in Sanskrit slokas with transliteration in English, followed by translations in English and Tamil. The Sanskrit slokas of the text, with the quintessence of the Five Verses, viz., Panchachamaram and the contents page indicating the number of slokas and page numbers (written by Bhagavan in his own handwriting) in the notebook maintained in the Archives, are furnished in the Annexures.
