Description

Sri Ramanasramam is permeated with the compassionate grace of Bhagavan Sri Ramana, offering devotees of all faiths the profound gifts of mental peace, bliss, and happiness. The primary objective of the Ashram is to provide comprehensive support to seekers pursuing these transformative benefits. Devotees routinely assemble in the morning and evening for silent meditation and prayer, receiving the necessary assistance and conveniences.
The recitation of Vedas, known as Vedaparayana, is a regular practice conducted both in the morning and evening. Devotees gather during Arathi, the ceremonial waving of lights, at the Shrines.
This book presents the Sanskrit verses, accompanied by English translations, of hymns regularly chanted at Sri Bhagavan Ramana’s Samadhi Shrine in Sri Ramanasramam. Included are the complete Sanskrit compositions recited during the daily morning and evening Vedaparayana, the forty verses of ‘Sri Ramana Chatvarimshat’ and
‘Sri Arunachala Pancharatnam’ recited during the morning milk offering. Additionally, the ‘Upadesa Sarah’ is chanted at the conclusion of the evening Vedaparayana, and the ‘Na Karmana’ mantra is recited at the end of both the morning and evening Vedaparayana sessions.
